Gapples.org was founded on a singular principle: Player Autonomy. In an era of Minecraft servers cluttered with over-regulation, intrusive staff, and game-breaking resets, we saw a need for a "pure" environment. We provide the canvas; you provide the chaos.

We are a high-performance Minecraft Anarchy server designed for players who value technical excellence, griefing culture, and long-term world persistence.

The Origin of Gapples

The project began in early 2026 as a small private experiment among friends who were frustrated by the philosophy and lag-heavy environments of existing anarchy platforms. What started as a single dedicated lobby has evolved into a growing community of builders, raiders, and technical players.

The name "Gapples" represents one of the main items in the game, it's quite likely to be the go-to food in anarchy: the Enchanted Golden Apples.

What Sets Us Apart?

While many servers claim to be "Anarchy," Gapples.org delivers a specific set of standards:

  • Hardware Superiority: We run on high-clock-speed dedicated hardware with folia. This ensures that even during massive TNT world-eaters or high-entity counts, the TPS stays as stable as possible, since they are local. Meaning if a player builds a lag machine, the TPS of that region will lag, but the rest of the players won't even notice.

  • Minimalist Administration: Our staff's role is strictly limited to server maintenance, anti-exploit patching, and hardware management. We do not interfere in player conflicts, base hunting, or in-game drama.

  • Persistent World: We aim for zero map resets. Your builds (and your ruins) are intended to remain part of the server's history for years to come.

Why We Have a Store

Maintaining a high-performance server capable of handling the stress of an anarchy environment is expensive. Between DDoS mitigation, high-end dedicated hosting, and custom plugin development, the monthly overhead is significant.
